UC2000 FEATURES:
-
The UC2000 is a low phase noise, low group delay, high output Upconverter
-
Input Level Range: +38dBmV to +45dBmV
-
Selectable Output Frequencies: 7 - 756MHz
-
IF Input has a center frequency of 44MHz
-
Bandwidth of the Up/Down Converter is 6MHz
-
+60dBmV Output using low distortion Hybrid Amplifiers
-
Non-Volatile Channel Memory
-
Synthesized Oscillators - Crystal Referenced Phase Locked
-
Digital LED Readout
AVAILABLE OPTIONS:
- 'SAW' Option: If the supplied 44MHz Input source is prone to spurious output, the SAW Filter/Amplifier component of the UC2000 may be used to correct such problems. If such conditions occur, simply connect the IF source into the SAW Filter Input F-Connector on the back plae of the UC2000 and loop the SAW Filter Output into the IF Input Connector of the Down Converter. This component of the UC2000 allows for a clean, low noise channel conversion to occur, even if the input signal leaves something to be desired.
- Note: The optional SAW Filter/Amplifier should be used only if the 44MHz Source has spurious output and needs filtering.
- RS232 with Daisy Chain (optional)
OPERATION:
-
All Channel conversions are controlled with a switch and LED Readout on the front panel of the UC2000. Simply flip the switch to the desired output channel, verify channel selection on the display and your QAM signal will be converted to the desired frequency. Output levels should then be adjusted to insure that an output of no greater level than +60dBmV is present at the RF Output. Levels may be adjusted by the 'Output Level' port located on the front panel of the UC2000.
